Overview

The Temporary Warehouse Manufacturing and Packaging Associate is an entry-level production role that supports high-volume mail finishing and print operations. This position plays a critical part in unpackaging, assembling, repackaging and handling of customer product.

Working closely with the production staff, the helper assists with product handling, packaging, and staging of materials with an emphasis on meeting quotas, quality control and organization.


No prior production or manufacturing experience is required—training is provided for individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Production Support

  1. Arrive on time and ready to work
  2. Handle customer supplied product with due care and attention
  3. Follow defined procedures you learned during training
  4. Perform tasks and assemble goods on production lines
  5. Store goods and materials properly in our warehouse
  6. Assemble and package customer material and prepare for shipping


Mail Preparation & Finishing

  1. Sort, bundle, tray, and package mail in accordance with USPS standards
  2. Material Handling & Staging
  3. Identify, retrieve, and stage raw materials for production jobs
  4. All other tasks assigned by supervisor

Quality Control

  1. Follow job instructions and production specifications closely
  2. Inspect materials for defects, inconsistencies, or damage
  3. Maintain daily quotas in the defined and conveyed threshold set by your supervisor
  4. Communicate issues to operators or supervisors promptly


Qualifications

Required

  1. High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  3. Reliable attendance and punctuality
  4. Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines
  5. Reliable mode of transportation

Preferred (Not Required)

  1. Prior experience in print, mail, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
  2. Familiarity with hand tools, production equipment, or packaging processes


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform this role. Reasonable accommodations will be made in accordance with applicable laws, including ADA requirements.

Physical Demands

  1. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift
  2. Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion
  3. Regular use of hands and fingers for handling materials
  4. Manual dexterity for handling paper, materials, and finished goods
  5. Visual ability to read printed materials
  6. Production floor environment with moderate to high noise levels
  7. Exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment
  8. Fast-paced, deadline-driven workflow with shifting priorities

This position requires regular overtime, including extended shifts and weekend work, especially during peak production periods
